Higher in Front than Behind

HP-BANNER-VAN-2.jpgA problem common in many of Warm Blood Sport Horses, particularly those selected for dressage. The saddle can come closer to the withers than with other conformation problems but will need to have a deeper rear gusset to balance the rider and make sure that a disproportionate amount of weight is not being taken at the very back of the saddle

In some dressage horses, where at more advanced movements the horse is bending its hocks and “waiting” this syndrome is noticeable – a saddle that looks in perfect balance when the horse is “at ease” can cause the rider to adopt the “Harley Davidson” seat – in these cases we often advocate a saddle with a deeper rear gusset so that the rider can remain in balance.
All NSC saddles are available with deeper rear gussets to order but the following are supported as stock
